Although a creative company themselves, Image Arcade came to me with the task of creating their logo. Their company had nostalgia deep in its circuitry, looking for a brand image that showed their love of 80's film, arcade games, and science fiction.

The initial consultation was a race to the finish, action-packed with so much inspiration to work from on their part as well as ideas I brought to the meeting. Shown below are just a sample of how quick we all got to work.

With so much to work from, the ideas were endless. I managed a handful of strong designs to present after our initial consultation that wowed them. Making the right choice was definitely a tough decision for Image Arcade yet like we say in showbiz, you've got to kill your babies sometimes. Below are the initial logo sketches.

From these sketches, we were on the right track to the final product. Image Arcade wanted something that married the idea of arcades and film while evoking this sense of life. Not to mention a hefty level of badassery. What went down is shown below.
That's a Wrap! Check the Gate!
With a few tweaks and a splash of neon color, Image Arcade was ready to enter the tournament of filmmaking. By far, this project was the most fun to create for. Working with fellow creatives allowed for an ease of communication as well as a shared respect for what both sides brought to the table.
